Walking

At 365 square miles, Dartmoor is the largest open space in southern England. It has wild open moorland, granite tors and wooded river valleys all of which make wonderful walking territory.
The Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and has wonderful varied walks throughout.

Both counties are surrounded by water and great fishing can be found all along the coasts both from the beach or on day charter boats.

The local trout fisheries have been noted as some of the best in Britan by leading fishing magazines. Our nearest, is just two miles away and has trout and course fishing.
