Morwellham Quay
This is a 1000-year-old riverside village, port and mine set in 200 acres that have been restored and brought back to life. This is just 3 miles from Woodovis.
The National Marine Aquarium
Your visit at the aquarium will reveal a strange and secret world that is both beautiful and bizarre, both weird and wonderful. The aquarium boasts a shark theatre, a wave tank and much more.
The Tamar Valley Donkey Park
This makes a fun packed day out for all the family to see donkeys, rabbits, ducks, pigs, lambs and calves. Children can also have a free Donkey ride.
The Tamar Otter Sanctuary
This is the only place in the West Country that breeds otters and then re-introduces them into the wild. You can watch the otters play in natural enclosures and see them inside their breeding holts.
The Monkey Sanctuary
Woolly monkeys have lived in these gardens for over 30 years.
Miniature Pony & Animal Farm
Here you can meet, touch and feel over 150 animals, including miniature ponies and donkeys that foal throughout the Spring and early Summer.

A family treasure hunt taking you through Hickory Farm and Creepy Cottage, a rail mine and deep into a forest thicket.
Screech Owl Sanctuary
A large collection of owl species from all over the world. At certain times of the year, baby owls may be seen playing in the créche.

Set in 33 acres of beautiful woodland with some stunning views of the surrounding countryside, Dartmoor Zoological Park is a unique family owned zoo with a fantastic collection of animals.
