Camping at Woodovis: tent pitches

Our spacious camping pitches are split between the Top Field and the Tamar View Field. The Top Field is smaller but close to the facilities, shop, reception, games room, laundry and children’s play area. The Tamar View Field is a little removed from all of this and has more of a laid back feeling. Wherever you choose, nothing is too far away. Your longest walk to the facilities is less than 300m.

Grass pitches

Available in the Top Field and Tamar View Field
For tents up 7.5m x 4.5m. (Some larger pitches available but book early as these go quick)
All include a free 16A electric hook-up point.

All weather pitches

Available in 7.5m x 7.5m of hardstanding, with a grass surround.
Special groundsheet provided to place under your tent to protect you from gravel chippings
No muddy groundsheets – no tent cleaning at the end of the holiday
You’ll need to use rock pegs on these pitches, (available from our shop)
Includes a free 16A electric hook-up point.

For your convenience

All electric hook-up points are within 25m of the pitch. Super Pitches have their own electric hook-up and water point as well as grey waste drainage.

You’re never more than 100m from a water point. Super Pitches have their own tap.
The chemical disposal point is on the end of the toilet block.
There is a dishwashing area in each field, one indoor, one under cover.
There are waste collection and recycling points in each field. Please try to recycle as much as possible.

We stayed in the cottage at Woodovis and it’s quite possibly one of the best places we’ve stayed in. It smelled lovely when we arrived and was very clean. There was a welcome gift for both us and our dogs which was a really nice touch. The cottage has it’s own little garden with beautiful roses growing, it’s perfect if you have dogs, it’s nice to be able to let them have a similar freedom to what they would have at home.

A gem hidden down the end of a beautiful long entrance road. Peaceful and relaxing with lots of wildlife to see. Facilities are of a high standard a shop that has everything you’re likely to need. Wardens are very friendly and welcoming, this was our 3rd stay and we will keep returning!
