Woodovis Camping Pods

The pods at Woodovis offer you a charming, extra comfortable alternative to camping – all the beauty of the great outdoors without the hassle of clearing away your tent at the end of your holiday. They’re like a tiny house, which just happens to be in a beautiful park with easy access to everything. We currently have 1 Pod and 2 Super Pods. They’re proving to be very popular so please book early, especially for high season.

The Pod – Sleeps (2 adults)

Inside measures 2.75m x 2.5m with good head room
Relax on your own porched decking – there’s shelter to cook or just watch the world go by
Small table & two chairs provided
Keep warm and secure! The pod has a double glazed window and lockable French Doors and good insulation
If the cold hits, just switch on your own heater
There is an electric socket and lighting
Perfect for those who love the idea of camping, but love their comforts that little bit more

Super Pods – Sleep 4 (2 adults 2 children)

Super Pods measure 3.35 m x 2.27 m with good head room
Inside, there’s a table with two bench seats to sit 4. This converts into a double bed
We can provide two additional camp beds if required
Porched decking with table and two chairs for sitting, cooking and watching the world go by
Stay snug with double glazing and insulated walls
Heater, electric socket, lighting and a small TV

We spent two weeks at this beautiful site. Facilities were immaculate, site was very well maintained , wardens were very helpful, we had most dealings with Andy and Nicky who went above and beyond for us. We stayed in the cottage at Woodovis and it’s quite possibly one of the best places we’ve stayed in. It smelled lovely when we arrived and was very clean. There was a welcome gift for both us and our dogs which was a really nice touch. The cottage has it’s own little garden with beautiful roses growing, it’s perfect if you have dogs, it’s nice to be able to let them have a similar freedom to what they would have at home.

A gem hidden down the end of a beautiful long entrance road. Peaceful and relaxing with lots of wildlife to see. Facilities are of a high standard a shop that has everything you’re likely to need. Wardens are very friendly and welcoming, this was our 3rd stay and we will keep returning!
