‘Great welcome after a long journey. Very helpful wardens in Helen & Tony…. Being over the golden age of 50 there was a discount on the price of the stay too! Lovely situation at the end of a long drive, amazing facilities, tidy and clean throughout. All in all a terrific weeks stay, will undoubtably be back !!!!!!!’

‘Set in a pretty rural area but very handy for the lovely town of Tavistock (with its great Pannier Market) and within walking distance of an excellent Inn which does great food at a great price….Very friendly and helpful welcome from Warden Angela….. ‘ We received the warmest of welcomes from Jo on our arrival …. Loved the indoor heated pool, thermotherapy sauna and jacuzzi. The site also bakes the freshest crusty bread and croissants to order, we had these a few times during our stay and they are beautiful. Good dog walk on site through a small wood with dog bags and bins provided.’

We have had a fantastic time cycling and walking in the area and a truly lovely relaxing stay ….It certainly is a peaceful atmosphere. Although camping (and very comfortably too) we actually felt that we were staying in a rather nice country hotel! Your facilities are second to none. We made good use of the amazing pool, spa and physiotherm facilities.

‘The Wash Block had the best showers both in quality and cleanliness I think I’ve ever seen. Children’s play park was clean, tidy and safe!! Swimming pool of a high standard. Location is in the countryside quiet and tranquil next to a smallholding where fresh Duck and Chicken eggs are sometimes available. Local pub in walking distance with superb food.’
